NTS supports RWM (Radioactive Waste Management) with the development and maintenance of the generic transport system designs and safety cases, related to the safe packaging and transport of radioactive material.

This programme of work is essential for resolving some of UK’s strategic issues around legacy nuclear waste management.

Our contribution to RWM’s work fully supports their goal of designing a method of transporting and permanently storing the UK’s highly radioactive waste in a deep geological disposal facility.
